Schober reacquires shares in Schober Direct Media from Ringier
Schober Holding AG (Schober) is pleased to announce the repurchase of shares in Schober Direct Media AG (SDM), Switzerland.
20% of Ringier AG (Ringier) shares are immediately being returned to the original owner. Ringier has held a minority stake in the Schober company since 1995. Within the Schober Group, SDM is responsible for consumer data business (B2C).
The two companies have enjoyed a long-term successful partnership: For more than 20 years, Schober and Ringier have collaborated in Switzerland in the joint promotion of B2C offline data. With the repurchase, Schober will in future focus even more on bundling the two divisions of B2B and B2C and advance its positioning in the Swiss market as a data and technology provider.
Schober plans to continue the trusting cooperation with Ringier: Their joint business relationship will focus in future on data and analytics.
